Personal Statement

We are very passionate about Real Estate. It gives us great pleasure to help Buyers and Sellers successfully navigate through their real estate transactions. We take pride in bringing buyers and sellers together to create win/win scenarios.

We have helped clients and friends find or sell their homes in Ingham, Clinton, Eaton and Shiawassee Counties. Our intricate knowledge of the Greater Lansing Area has allowed us to bring our expertise to every transaction.

What it Means to be a REALTOR

A REALTOR is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. We are constantly training and retraining by taking classes, seminars and sharing ideas with other realtors to keep us on the cutting edge of all things relating to Real Estate. We work hard at staying informed so that we can pass our knowledge on to our clients.

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.


To earn a designation, a REALTOR® has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry. We are Quality Service Certified (QSC). QSC certified Real Estate agents make a pledge to their clients by presenting each client with a written Quality Service Commitment, which describes all of the services that the Real Estate agent commits to providing throughout the real estate transaction. Shelby is also a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE). The one skill area that clients expect in their real estate professional is negotiation skills. Negotiation skills determine the ultimate outcome for both sides in an negotiation. Shelby is also E-Pro Certified to provide clients with the most advanced real estate technology to bring exceptional service to every transaction.
